Kyushu Transportation Map - How to Get to Kyushu from Tokyo and Osaka
It's best to get to Kyushu from Osaka. It's close, easy to reach by Shinkansen, and the ticket price is not too high.
If you are traveling from Tokyo, flying is the most convenient option. You can reach Fukuoka in about 2 hours. Since Tokyo is far from Kyushu, the Shinkansen takes around 5 hours and usually costs two to three times more than flying.
